Our proposal
-
We are a network of chivalric circles led by volunteer leaders.
Inspired by the chivalric heritage, we organize physical, cultural and spiritual activities, particularly challenges.
Each branch is autonomous and part of a larger movement led by Héritage Français.
-
Joining a circle means choosing to get involved in a collective project structured around strong values.
Becoming an Heir means joining a community of people motivated to act together, learn from each other, and bring this spirit of chivalry to life.
We are not here to remake the world over a beer, but to take action. We collectively decide on the challenges for our branch.
-
Our network is strictly apolitical. Religion is not a selection criterion, but we encourage each Heir to reconnect with christianity.
We do not pursue any ideological agenda, nor are we affiliated with any political movement.
What brings us together is a desire to pass on the ideal of chivalry, combining personal standards with a shared ideal.
Our finding
We believe that chivalrous values are key to personal fulfillment :
➣ Serve others
➣ Defend the weak
➣ Be courageous
➣ Fight evil
Chivalry is no longer promoted.
For men in search of meaning, society seems to offer only the model of the victim or the thug.
Our values
Honor
The Heirs uphold the values that have shaped Europe, as promoted by Héritage Français. As Heirs, we honor our elders.
We are men and women of our word and make it a point of honor to respect ourselves and our principles.
If the actions of the Heirs contradict the values upheld by Héritage Français, they are required to remove all references to them.
Strenght
Following in the footsteps of knights, the Heirs are committed to spiritual and athletic discipline. We recognize the inherent violence of human beings and control it through discipline and exercise.
We proudly display the logo of Héritage Français: the fleur-de-lis and the Jerusalem cross.
We are aware that we are role models, custodians of a spirit that has endured through the ages. Our strength goes hand in hand with humility.
Charity
Open to all, chivalric circles are guided by charity.
The Heirs are aware that strength must be used to serve the weakest. We do not use it to crush, but to serve our neighbors.
We put this charity into practice within the circles by respecting others. By serving our neighbors, we distance ourselves from the selfish tendencies that are all too human.
« Etiam si omnes ego non »
« Even if all others do, I will not »
— Motto of Clermont-Tonnerre and motto of the Heirs
Our activities
The Heirs encourages all initiatives promoting the ideals of chivalry.
Challenges
As this is not a group that meets up for a beer, members are required to complete :
➣ One challenge per month (hiking, tournament, boxing gala, shooting session, hunting, beehard, etc.)
Weekly challenges are left to the discretion of the branches. These may consist of a simple sports session.
These challenges are shared on the Héritage Français platform through republication or collaboration.
Become an Heir
If you identify with this chivalrous ideal, take the plunge. Commitment honors the will of free men.
